Myriad Matrix™
Advanced ECM. Complete wound coverage.
An intact extracellular matrix bioscaffold derived from ovine (sheep) forestomach tissue. Myriad Matrix is non-reconstituted, non-cross-linked collagen — retaining the innate structure and function of native ECM macromolecules including elastin, fibronectin, glycosaminoglycans and laminin — that transforms into a soft, conforming sheet incorporated into the surrounding tissue over time.
Native Structure, Simple Handling
Native Structure Meets Operational Simplicity
Myriad Matrix pairs an intact, non-cross-linked ECM scaffold with the storage and handling profile a busy wound care practice depends on.
151
ECM proteins
Collagens, glycoproteins, proteoglycans, secreted factors and ECM regulators identified in the matrix.
33 mg/cm²
ECM content
Myriad Thick delivers more critical ECM protein to the soft tissue deficit than amnion or small intestinal mucosa alternatives.
Near-Zero
Residual cellularity
The Transpose process reduces inflammatory cellular components while retaining the open porous ECM structure.
Room Temp
Storage
No specialized storage requirements. Terminally sterilized, supplied sterile and dry.
The Technology
Engineered for Rapid Cell Access
Built on Endoform® ECM and prepared using the proprietary Transpose process — optimized to retain the open porous structure of tissue ECM, preserve important ECM components, and reduce inflammatory components.
Porous Biological Scaffold
Endoform® native porous extracellular matrix provides a biological scaffold known to support cell infiltration and migration. Engineered perforations and interstitial spaces facilitate cell access and lateral cell migration.
Natural Vascular Channels
An extensive network of native vascular channels provides immediate, specific vascular architecture to support migrating endothelial cells, establishing new vasculature and a robust blood supply.
Replaced by the Patient's Own Tissue
Myriad absorbs cells and blood components on placement, forming a reservoir that kick-starts tissue repair. Fibroblast, endothelial and immune cells infiltrate the matrix, and over time Myriad is completely replaced by the patient’s own tissue.
More ECM to the Deficit
ECM content by material — Myriad delivers more critical ECM protein to the soft tissue deficit than amnion or small intestinal mucosa alternatives.2
Indications for Use
Myriad Matrix is intended to cover, protect, and provide a moist wound environment. It is indicated for the management of acute and chronic wounds, including:
Myriad Matrix can be used in conjunction with compression therapy and negative pressure wound therapy under the supervision of a health care provider.
Available Sizes
Five sizes to match the wound bed. Trim to size or apply whole; multiple sheets may be used if required.
| Size | Wound Coverage |
|---|---|
| 2 × 2 cm | 4 cm² |
| 2 × 3 cm | 6 cm² |
| 4 × 3 cm | 12 cm² |
| 4 × 4 cm | 16 cm² |

Safety & Handling
Terminally sterilized, supplied sterile and dry, and stored at room temperature. Always handle using aseptic technique.
Contraindications
- Derived from an ovine (sheep) source. Do not use on patients with known sensitivity to ovine-derived material.
- Not indicated for use on third-degree burns.
Precautions
- Do not apply in the presence of uncontrolled clinical infection, acute inflammation, excessive exudate, or bleeding.
- Supplied sterile. Do not use if the pouch is damaged.
- Discard the device if mishandling has caused possible damage or contamination.
- Single use only. Do not re-sterilize. Discard all unused portions.
- Minimize manipulation during rehydration and placement.
- Always handle using aseptic technique.
